About Me
For 25 years, I’ve worked with industry-leading organizations in healthcare, technology, education technology, and the non-profit sector (economic development) throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. What do I bring to the table?

My History |
I began writing professionally more than two decades ago as an in-house copywriter for an educational publisher, focusing on both B2B and B2C audiences. After five years at healthcare information leader Wolters Kluwer Health, I began my consulting business in 2010. As a freelancer I’ve had the opportunity to expand my skill set and experience the joys of working on a diverse range of projects and with wide variety of organizations.
Prior to embarking on my writing career, I spent many years living and working in Japan, first as an English teacher in a rural school district, then as a bookstore manager in Yokohama, near Tokyo. I have a BA in Japanese from Georgetown University (and spent a study-abroad year at Sophia University in Tokyo) and an MA in Asian Studies from the University of Michigan. |
